Return Period:
You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return. Following a return request, you have an additional 30 days to return the product to us.
Mandatory Contact Before Return:
You MUST contact us before sending any returns. The return address may differ from the original shipping address. Please reach out to us via one of the following methods to initiate the return process:

Condition of Returned Products:
To be eligible for a full refund, the product must be returned in its original condition and packaging, including all accessories and documentation. Please handle products with care and ensure they are properly packaged for return to prevent damage during transit.
If returned products are damaged beyond what is necessary to inspect them, we may deduct the diminished value from your refund.
Return Shipping Costs:
Customers are responsible for all return shipping fees, estimated at approximately €9.95 per package. The exact cost will depend on your chosen carrier. We recommend using a trackable shipping method as we are not liable for lost returns. You will need to arrange and pay for the return shipping yourself.
Refund Process:
- Initiate a Return: Contact us via email or our contact page to inform us of your intention to return the product. Please provide your order number and the reason for the return.
- Return the Product: Once you have received instructions from our customer service team, please ship the product to the provided return address using a trackable shipping method. Please provide us with the tracking details to expedite the refund process.
- Inspection: Upon receiving the returned product, we will inspect it to ensure it meets our return conditions.
- Refund Issuance: If the return is approved, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned product in good condition. Please allow 3-5 business days for your financial institution to process the refund and for the funds to appear in your account.
Refund of Original Shipping Costs:
If you exercise your right to cancel your order within 30 days of receiving it and return the product within the subsequent 30 days, you will receive a full refund, including the original shipping costs you paid. However, you will still be responsible for the return shipping costs.
Exchanges:
To exchange a product, please contact us at info@lichtdekor.com. Please note that you will be responsible for the return shipping costs of the original item. Once we receive and process the returned item, we will arrange for the shipment of the new item (subject to availability). You may also be required to pay any price difference for the exchanged item.
Non-Returnable Items:
The following items cannot be returned if the seal is broken or if they fall under these categories:
- Customized products made to your specifications.
- Products of a personal nature (e.g., items that come into direct contact with the body).
- Products that cannot be returned due to their nature (e.g., perishable goods, digital downloads once accessed).
Damaged Orders Upon Arrival:
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 30 days of receipt. Please provide clear photographs showing the damage to the product and the product label on a flat surface. This information is crucial for us to resolve the issue and prevent future errors. We will either send a replacement free of charge or issue a full refund, including any shipping costs. If a replacement also arrives damaged, a full refund will be provided.
Manufacturing Defects or Defects After Use:
A manufacturing defect refers to a broken part that does not meet the manufacturer's standards. Please note that wear parts are excluded from this, including but not limited to:
- Batteries
- Brake pads and discs, brake pads, brake drums
- Moving parts in general
If you believe you have received a product with a manufacturing defect, please contact our customer service team with details and supporting evidence (e.g., photos). We will assess the situation and provide a suitable resolution.
Delivery of Incorrect Products:
If you receive the wrong product, please contact us immediately. We will resolve the issue and arrange for the correct item to be shipped to you free of charge.
